Vacations Beach Fale is a family owned business located in the
village of Manase on the big island of Savaii. Owned by Samoan
member of parliament, Leota Lu II, and managed by his wife Elaine,
Vacations Beach Fale has been one of the big islands' best kept
secrets since it began operating in 2001.
Vacations' prides itself on simple values all focussed on
providing its clientele with the maximum 'Samoan' experience. The
resulting feedback through word of mouth usually brings even more
curious travellers from around the world to this unique tiny

There are two things that past customers always rave about - the
food and clean bathrooms. Just because Vacations is accommodation
suited to backpackers and budget travellers doesn't mean the
service and quality of facilities are compromised. Management
places a lot of emphasis on its food quality and cleanliness of
its bathroom and shower facilities. Sunday toona'i is the
highlight of the week and is a feast best seen to be believed.

Where to find us:
Vacations' is situated in Manase on the north-eastern side of
Savaii. To get there, take a ferry from Mulifanua in Upolu which
is approximately 40 minutes drive from Apia and a couple of
minutes from Faleolo Airport. You can get there by catching one of
the 'Pasi o Vaa' buses from the Fugalei Market in Apia. The ferry
takes just over an hour to get to Salelologa, the main town on
Savaii. Catch any bus at the Salelologa Wharf that pass through
Manase. There are two special green coloured Vacations Beach Fale
buses. Just ask the driver to drop you off when you board.
