Pacific Greetings!

The wonder of the Internet allows us to communicate and celebrate the successes of Pacific peoples all over the world. Today many Pacific people
have set up homes and created Pacific communities in countries like New Zealand, Australia, USA and Europe. Pacific influence in sports, music and professional careers is no longer limited to the beautiful islands that we
still call home but has reached the shores of Asia, Africa, South America
and the Middle East. We no longer live on isolated islands or belong to one
ethnic group but are now part of a global audience. On the cusp of this
great excursion into cyber communication, Event Polynesia is playing its
part in ‘Connecting the Pacific’.
